Do you ever get tired of treatment for depression and just want to commit suicide?
Answer:
I have. I actually tried a couple times. But it's selfish. Think how it would affect everyone around you.
When I first started being treated for depression I still felt like you do, but now (6/7 months later) I'm a lot better. You just have to be patient. It's the best thing for you and everyone you know.
Please?
Those depression drugs will make you kill yourself and your whole family ! YOU DONT NEED THEM IT MAKES EVERYTHING WORSE ... GET OFF THEM and DANCE
There is a stage in treatment for depression when the depression begins to lift but only enough to give you the energy to consider suicide. Before that, you were too depressed to think at all, let alone act. This stage passes as you continue to get better. But be sure to tell your therapist or physician that you are feeling this way so they can help you through it.
Trust me. Suicide is no cure for depression.
In fact you will create depression in a lot of other people.

No, I haven't gotten treatment for depression, but I had wanted to commit suicide when I was a kid. I talk about my problems to someone I trust, I pray daily, read the Bible and attend church regularly. In other words, I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe God hears and answers prayers, like he will answer the prayer I am praying for you to overcome depression.
I know this is easier said then done. Look for the positives in your life and try to focus on them as much as possible.
My husband committed susicide in 2004. He had major back problems, but wouldn't do anything to help himself get better. he gave up.
I have lived with chronic pain for many years. I go through bouts of deppression. What works for me is group therapy, people who have walked in my shoes. Also my sons, 22 and 25. I'm 42. I'm looking forward to when they get married, having grandbabies. Look for the positives that are yet to be.
I have taken Zoloft in the past. It lets me feel my emotions, just not one extreme to another. NOT ALL MEDS WILL CAUSE SUICIDAL TENDENCIES. Talk to your doctor and make certain you are not haing panic/anxiety attacks. Some doctors will label you depressed, when it's actually anxiety.
Hope this helps.
