Have you ever...?
Have you ever gone back in time...while on a historical tour, or have you ever gone back in time...while dreaming?
I just recently had a dream I believe about the 40's or 50's..I couldn't tell exactly...but was trying to ,with the different clothing in the dream..I have usually dreamt about the 40's,50's and sometimes 60's...rarely the 20' and or 30's...but, sometimes... I do! What have you done."been there, or dreamt it"?
thanks for answering!
Answer:
That's an interesting question. I usually pay attention to more of what goes on in my dreams than the time or setting of my dreams. Sometimes, my dreams are set sometime in the past 18 years (that is, any time in the past after I was born). Because I might dream about playing a sport I played years ago, or dream about doing gymnastics which I did a while ago, or even dream about places I used to go to school and even people from my past. I've never noticed differences in clothing, though. Maybe now I can pay more attention, at least when I have lucid dreams.
No, I haven't, but I wish I did.
No...
Never dreamt the past, only the future.
One time I thought I was Jimi Hendrix. I was playing my guitar on a double dose of Orange Sunshine..and man..I was totally, "scuse me while I kiss the sky!"
have a nice day.
My de ja vus take me further in time. More 17th century in America, and more ancient times in Egypt and Europe. Really strange . . . they don't last long and are not as vivid as yours. Mine are less visual, more of inner stirrings than anything else.
One time I ate a bunch of mushrooms and had a vision that I was a school teacher in California. It was during the gold rush circa 1849 and I had immigrated from China. I was a very harsh teacher and would scold the kids for the slightest infraction.
No, but it sounds fun!
ive had dreams come true i usualy wake up and write my dreams down so i take another look at it some dreams invole the past but its no futher than 30 years
i have always had a great interest in the 18th century, i have never had any dreams about that time period but i feel very attached to that time. i know this is ganna sound crazy but it could be possible that we have had past lives, and that once in a while we might remember, maybe not specific things but more like a been there done that feeling
Yes I have had lifetime regressions too often to count
They just happened. All my life ancient Egypt was a passion. A strong love in my life. When I met my second husband I was 50 and suddenly I knew why Egypt had always been so familiar. He and I had been amazingly happy together. He always called me his Sweet Peggy. I eventually dreamt of a life in Britain... 1700's most likely. We were a fair blonde pair of gypsy lovers, just kids and so very happy.
There are 4 other lives that returned to my memory in this lifetime. Sometimes just snippets, in one case I got so lost in it for months I almost lost reality. That is when I stepped back and learned proper respect for what I was meddling in. It was then, that I met my husband and I remembered happier lives with him.
As for dreams. I recently answered a question on dreams. You might like to read about them. It might clarify some of your answers. Might not LOL.
i have, but not really in a dream. it was more like something that you could vision in the back of your mind. it was during either ww1, or ww2. i could see myself in the tropics, sitting on a beach reading a book. ive seen this ever since i was a kid. i dont read unless the letters are big and theres picture illustrations. i now live in florida, and not by choice. that happened from a really weird set of circumstances that is too involved to go into. theres been other things too, and i do believe you can get glimpses of your past and future if you can open your mind enough.
never had that feeling
Yes,most of my dreams are in medieval days. But most of my reading and entertainment are focused in these times.I also believe that repressed lives due to reincarnation have something to do with these interests.
I've had a few dreams about the past, and i came to an agreement that it was simply because I either wanted to re-live the momment, or because something about that momment caught the attention of my likes/dislikes
Dy ja vue?
I'm getting lost to myself lost to the world, and without negative feelings. Most positive feelings must be ignored , at least in a moderate amount of time, in order to achieve true enlightment. Understanding yourself is the key to understanding the world.. The term I use is "complex simplicity" and have talked about this concept quite a bit on this deal .....
