Is psychology mainly mumbo jumbo?
Answer:
Psychology is certainly a science. There are countless procedures to follow when attempting an experement. There are also methods that must be followed to make your results reproduceable. Weather its necisarry or not is debatable. Psychologists are quite unecissary, as soon as they meet you there trying to diagnose you with something so they can get you on some sort of medication.

but..
nah~ I love psychology!! =D
Psychology is need in some areas, but I find it to be a BS job, your just telling someone your problems, and they give you there opinion based on something they read in a book at a University, you take their advice or you don't. No real cure, no real medication, how can you medicate (I hate my mother) or something weird like that.
No. . .psychology is not just "mumbo jumbo", but it takes an intelligent person to understand it.
