Deja Vu? Does this happen to you?
Sometimes I get Deja Vu, where I remember doing something else in the moment that I'm currently in. However, I feel compelled to change the moment. I do something that I know didn't happen. Usually its as simple as saying something different, or hesitating. I was just wondering if this happens to other people, and if you feel compelled to "change the future?"
Answer:
Yeah I have had deja vu alot but I can go a year or so with out it and then all the sudden I have it all the time in a short time span. I have heard that deja vu is a way of letting you know you are on the right track a way of knowing your life is going on the path it was meant for, maybe the reason I go without having it for a long time could be due to going off track. Some people say before you are born you see your whole life maybe that is why some parts seem eerily familiar.
I think I have seen this question on Answers before.
That happens to me all the time! I usually just say something random such as "potato" then it stops. There was one time it didn't stop though and I said "Aah! I am having deja vu!" then it stopped.
yes it happens to me all the time...it's kind of scary actually
i dont get deja vu the same as u... i just get a feeling that the same thing happend twice... but im never sure.. maybe u have some psychic powers :P
OMG yes i get deja vu a lot it freaks me out cause it happens almost constintly and yea sometimes i do diffrent things or ill just see what happens and than what deja vu ..
I get deja vu spells several times a week. Supposedly, they're caused by mini-seizures.
yes i have it happen very often The term déjà vu is French and means, literally, "already seen." Those who have experienced the feeling describe it as an overwhelming sense of familiarity with something that shouldn't be familiar at all. Say, for example, you are traveling to England for the first time. You are touring a cathedral, and suddenly it seems as if you have been in that very spot before. Or maybe you are having dinner with a group of friends, discussing some current political topic, and you have the feeling that you've already experienced this very thing -- same friends, same dinner, same topic
Hell yeah it like your mind says oh I've been here but you just think that because your there right now.
It's normal if whe are in Matrix...lol
I believe I heard somewhere like 70% of people have deja vu.I think it's trippy...and I will usually say "wow...deja vu" but would not do anything to "change the future".I think it's more like the past.
I have suffered from this as well, it is actually a lag in the signal between your senses and you brain. When your brain catches up to your sense it leaves a feeling of confusion and bewilderment as if you have "been here before". Well, of course you were, your mind is now playing "catch-up".
the term deja vu means "over again".
which translates to the feeling we have been somewhere, done something or said the same thing to the same person before, even if we just met that person.
I think most people get this, but most people say nothing..
for me it feels like I am going down in a elevator to fast or something, I never try to stop it, its not a future prediction and I don't think we can really change the outcome for somethings..specially since the thrust of deja vu is that to know we are having it is to be "reliving " already..whats the point?
no this has never happened to me, sorry i could,nt be of more help to you
o yeah
i get deja vu from dreams i have,
because when the deja vu hits it feels like, well, deja vu...
but it's not because i've already done whatever it is i am doing,
it's because i have dreamed it before,
