How can I become the kind of guy that calls all the shots and owns every conversation?
Answer:
Don't take me wrong but if you are asking that is because you are not that kind of person. I understand that you may want to change and I respect that, but before you do that you must ask yourself why do you want to do that? The first step to be the guy who "call the shots" is to accept ourselves as we are, only then you can lead. If I where you I would not be worried about that, everybody has it's role in the society, today we are a leader tomorrow we are being lead, it's how life is and being able to cope with that it's the big secret.
So, don't try to change who you are, get to know yourself and bring up the best in you, you'll see that when you do that you'll be a lot confident.

1. be bold in whatever you do,
2. accept one thing (even if its not true) that you are the best in the midst of fools,
3. support right,
4. dont hesitate to say "sorry" and "i dont know"
5. respect women
it really is all in the body language. stand tall, chin up and look like you know what your doing

Watch some movies or shows on what kind of guy you want to be. Or try to find a mentor and ask some questions on what he does or what he thinks. But the first thing to do is to find out who you are first and try to find what makes you "you." Once you find out, then you can develop skills of confidence. The best thing to do though is just practice, practice, practice. Some people are naturally gifted shot callers. But you can be just as good if you just do it, make mistakes, learn from it, and do it better.
well you don't want to be do domineering people would not want to be around then you'll be able to dominate all conversations because you'll be having them by yourself. however you can twist anyconversation to get it to where you want it! which is a nice sublte way of getting it where you want it without appearing to be narcissistic or you can just boldly change it!
