Answer:
I had this same problem when i was in the eighth grade. So, the only thing that cured my insomnia was summer vacation. But, on some nights: I had to literally force my mind from racing with thoughts. School is stressful if you're always worried about grades. So, set aside some time to study every night. And on the weekends. Force yourself to clear your mind when you study so that you can get good time in. As for the problems. If they are family-related and your old enough to make the decisions in the family, then start FIXING them. if you can't fix them, find social support. Join social/community groups so that your anxiety will be lifted. As for death, please don't worry about that.It gets everybody
I know it sounds cheesy, but try and clear your mind. Don't do to many activites right before bed. Like playing a video game. I personally had problems with getting to sleep.
I went to my Doctor and he gave me sleeping pills, but this is a last resort.
You can go to a psychologist, get an anxiety medication, try sleeping medication. or you can try other alternatives without the use of drugs or doctors like cutting down certain things near bedtime like caffeine, have very active days so that you are very exhausted at the end of the day, or (the one I have often employeed) sleep with the tv or radio on and try to tune out to all other thoughts and focus completely on the noise with your eyes closed. Good luck.
A awhile back, Newsweek had a report about sleeplessness in America. It seems that the everyday stress of just living takes its toll when we try to sleep. Many people do have success with sleep aids. Like you and millions others, I often have trouble falling asleep. But, I have taught myself to just put my worries "on hold" until the morning, I try to focus on something that made me smile. A funny movie, or a good time with friends, a happy memory.
try to write down all you're dilemmas and goals before bed.I f that doesn't work do some exhausting exercise before bed.
