I've been in love with my best friend which he's been in love with me for 6 yrs, we finally became lovers and I truly believe that he's my soul-mate or kindred soul-mate...I believe in true love because I feel it in my heart...;)
When it truly is..you just know...and you won't have to ask anyone..
Catch 22-you don't know love until you experience love. Oh, you may know what you THINK love is or what others have told you of love, but love is one thing you don't need to know before it finds you-because you will know when it does. That being said there is a side note here: Sometimes love finds you but you don't know right away-kind of like an email that gets stuck in your spam folder.
If it happens believe me you know about it. You have just got to sort the love from the lust.
LOVE doesnt look like anything... it's a feeling. you KNOW it when you find it. i was nearly confused by it at first, it was so overwhelming... felt like it couldn't be real, not so fast, so mutual. it's a feeling of safety with the other, trust with your whole heart & mind... KNOWING that the other feels the same. it's unlike anything else i have ever felt. finding the "One" took me 30 years. now that i have him i feel blessed.

Love is magical, it can happen in an instant. You can't help it, you can't control it and you don't need to know what it looks like because it strikes you and then you know. You get a twinkle in your eye and a smile that wont quit and when you think of that person, you love them for who they are. You want them to be happy even it that means its not with you. You love them enough to let them go. You will know love because it won't leave you alone. The pain of a love lost is soul wrenching. If you never felt your soul before you will if you lose your love.
You need to ask yourself is it the relationship based on sex or equal care even when your down and out.
Everything fits and you can talk to them about anything. You'll be completely happy and the world will seem brighter. I know it sounds corney, but you will actually be upset with all your past relationships.
I thought I knew everything that I wanted in person. Turns out, I was wrong. I met my soulmate when I wasn't looking and I feel it was blessing we stop at the light together. Yes, we met at a traffic light and it was first time either of us drove down that street.
I think it is good to have an idea of what you looking for, but I don't think it should be written in stone. You may be looking for all the things you don't need?
Quite a riddle you've written. Yes, I agree. Whenever you stop searching for something it comes to you without you even requesting for it. It's a law of nature, you attract what you want to repel and you repel that which you seek for.
