Need help on this thought I had about time travel in my head.?

Ok I was thinking, If someone went back to the past to try to kill their past self,and plots a evil plan but it is foiled then in return gets killed by their past self.

Would this mean that it will be an never ending cycle were the past self keeps going back in time to try killing himself with the same plan and then get killed in return, is it possible. Wouldn't the person already know that his plan would get foiled and that he would get killed the next time ? Or does he have to die no matter what? I'm Confused :'(

I'm asking this as if the future self became crazy and the past self is sane and normal and does reconize his future self.

Time travel questions drive everyone crazy. There is no right answer to this as what you propose is impossible.
If the past self killed the present self then that person would no longer exist. So here is a warning
NEVER EVER plot to kill yourself, past present or future.
