Not much if you're that bionic dog, Maxamillion, who was on the Bionic Woman.
Ones flesh and other one is metal. Ones living and one is just moving parts.
A dog is infinitely more complex than any man-made machine. In fact, a tree is much more complex than any machine ever made by man. If we could reproduce photosynthesis as well as a tree can, there would be no pollution and no energy crisis.
I can get another robot.
ones not alive
Hi, that is actually a VERY logical and good question. A robot is given comands and most of the time does them. A dog is the same tell it to sit and sits. The only difference is that a dog can have compassion and feeling. They love, hate, feel pain and have a mind that is not souly based on commands. Sometimes they do as they please even if we tell them no.
My conclusion is that a dog knows feeling and a robot only knows what it is told.
Dogs are animals, they poop, bark, chase cats, bite, wear chains, etc.
Robots are manmade, they have lights, they move slowly, they don't let out waste, they are magnetic, etc.
Muffet.
Having a pet robot is a cop-out because you can switch it off and dump it in the store room for a month if you are busy. It's like marrying an inflatable doll.
A robot wags his tail but doesn't mean it. And a robot laying on your lap when you feel depressed is just going to make things worse.
People would pay a million dollars for a pet robot dog. But when you get a real pet dog, you get a millions dollars in return.
You can't give a robot a bath or you'll short it out.
A robot can take it's self out for a walk and clean up after it has made a mess.
