i just listen to music that suits my mood. if im sad its sad music.music ALWAYS helps me. whenever i had my violin with me id just play it too ahah. it was actually a bit soothing. when im sad it usually turns to anger so when im angry i am not happy if what im playing is wrong. the anger pushes me to play correctly. wierd i know

chocolate works wonders too!

also, walking my dog ALONE! i just go with him and walk and think and yeah its soothing for me. craft projects always make me happy.
read, play soccer, and be with the people I love. That I know who can cheer me up.
Hi, when I am sad I prefer to stay alone for a while and cry a little the I turn on my computer and hear some songs
Watch a very funny movie, work out, clean house, garden, get with some upbeat friend or friends and just enjoy. This is only if I am having a change of mood from ok to sad. If there is a reason for my sadness, I think about what I can do about it, if there's nothing I can do to change what made me feel sad, I go back to the first plan above.

I go to a place where i can be alone, and then I watch a baby learning show and rant at why Dora doesn't see the clubhouse right behind her! Normally at insulting one of them, I feel better eventually.
normally when im sad i light a few candels,prepare me a hot bubbly bath put on some soft jazz and just lay back and relax...sometimes im may even bring a book along.
When Im sad I usually 1st find a quiet place to sulk and cry
I just let my emotions come out I think the best way to feel better is really to cry.just let time pass by or do something new or do something that you don't usually do.find something to do to forget your sadness
wel wen am sad. i like to be alone.cry it all out and then after there is no more of my tears to get out.i watch a good movie,or go shopping,fit on that expensive jean that looks so good on me.after am satisfied of the jean, i sometimes go get ice cream and i also sleep if its that bad.
i think even going to a charity home or helping a neighbour would help.when you serve others you usually forget about your problems and focus on making other peoples life better.
When Im sad I usually call my best friend. She always knows how to cheer me up!! also, dont be by yourself..it makes it harder to cheer up!!
I go for a walk or bike ride, exercise is good for the heart, mind and soul and it relaeses negitive energy pent up or I go to the river or take a hot bathe, water is good and emotional, then I recall my inner stregths which are zen meditation, sometimes prayer, I spend time with my cat, and then I say postitve affrimations that stregthen me physiaclly and mentally, such as, I will be strong, This too shall pass, I am in control of all of all emotions, I will not give my energy to negitivity. - Also sometimes I right down how I feel later read it to see what I've wrote and what I want to own and what I do not, sometimes burn the written info, helps to releasde it all. - I also have learned that you can take a balloon and while bloing it up imagine that all your saddness and anger or what ever emotin it is you no longer want is going out of you into the balloon and tie it up and take a needle and pop it. do it over and over, it really waroks well! My favorite is to drive, if I can find a long open road and hold down the gas pedal while shifting into each gear till fifth, just listening to that turbo hit next stage, and the jolt of the car with every gear. Or just the typical go for a walk and listen to music. But whatever
when i'm sad i turn upmusic loud all the way it can go then i think about what happened and what will happen because of it
