Being a coward?
Answer:
everyone is afraid of getting into fights, even boxers.
but being confident in yourself helps makes a remarkable difference.
i'd try working out, that'll help boost your self-confidence and physical abilities.
taking self-defense classes over at your local junior college will also help boost your confidence in fighting or protecting yourself, and is a whole lot cheaper than any other type of martial arts training out there... thats for sure.
taking any type of self-denfense or martial arts class will help you dramtically..
I would suspect that you may have been physically abused as a child. You may or may not remember it, but it affected your reaction to aggression. So there are two suggestions - get some therapy if my suspicion is right, or take a self-defense course in something like judo or karate. That will give you a sense of confidence about being able to defend yourself, which is the only appropriate situation for getting into a fight to begin with.
i think that a guy who has more brains and common sense to walk away, is just as powerful as the person starting the fight. if you really are afraid of an altercation, then get a membership at your local gym and start slugging the bag around and after a while, you should feel more confident.just remember, it takes a bigger and better person to walk away..Good luck..
It's not being a coward when you don't want to get beat for standing up for yourself, or what you believe in.
You haven't been in a fight and the idea of what might happen to you is scary, that is a reasonable fear of the unknown.
I can't tell you everything will turn out ok, but, many times,
when someone stands up for themself, the bullies get a bit
scared, so it may not come to a physical altercation.
I'm not positive, but I think bullies can smell fear. So try to
find a way to fight the fear. A class in self defense
or the martial arts. They teach you to be confident.
good luck. peace.
