Whats the meaning of life?

Answer:
If we accept that we cannot trust the beliefs of others as absolutely true, then we must conclude that we have to create our own meaning.
Death--that's my final answer.
love , trust, family, friends, and god
to live
I think that it might be sort of like the meaning that animals have, having babies and raising them. Contributing to the next generation.

But this is only true to a certain extent. I think that when people sit down and think of what the meaning of their lives are, they think about things that are important to them, things that give them reasons to live.

My only meaning in life is to be there for my dog, Izabelle. I honesting don't enjoy hobbies anymore. This is probably a bad thing, but at least she's there.
awareness, kindness to your fellow man, learning to be the best you can be!
I'll take this as a serious question. The answer is relationships.

The greatest commandment, according to Jesus of Nazareth, is to love the Lord your God with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength. He said that the second is like it. Love your neighbor as yourself. He said that the whole Old Testament hangs on those two Scriptures.

If one has their relationship with their Creator in good order, and their relationships with their fellow man in order, life has meaning. Without these, we're basically reduced to an animal with a bunch of instinctive impulses that bring temporary gratification but nothing that anyone could call meaning.

You didn't ask this, but I'm going to answer it anyway. Was there ever a time in world history where God and man were getting along great? Yes. The Garden of Eden. God and man were working together to make this world a better place. I think if we take that approach (God and man working together to make this world a better place), things would be much more "Eden-like."

This world is a particular place created by Allah where man is being tested and is being prepared for the abode of the Hereafter. Part of this test is that it is made to seem fair and attractive to man. Some features of this world that are alluring to people are stated in a Qur'anic verse as follows:

To mankind the love of worldly appetites is painted in glowing colours: women and children, and heaped-up mounds of gold and silver, and horses with fine markings, and livestock and fertile farmland. All that is merely the enjoyment of the life of this world. The best homecoming is in the presence of Allah. (Surah Al 'Imran: 14, Quran)

As stated in the verse, invaluable ornaments, wealth, profitable commerce, charming and wealthy mates, healthy children, pleasing houses, cars in any colour or model, assorted food are the values that attach man to this world. Yet man should remember that these are bestowed by Allah as a temporary benefit, all of them are merely the perishable goods of this world and, as announced in the verse above, "the best homecoming" is in the Hereafter. As for these benefits he is given, he should not squander them during his worldly life, but use them in making preparation for the Hereafter. Those who behave in accordance with this absolute truth are not swept away by the life of the world.

What will be the end of those who are satisfied with the life of this world?

Some people are greedily attached to the world, forgetting that it is imperfect and short-lived. Allah characterises these people in the Qur'an as follows:

As for those who do not expect to meet Us and are content with the life of this world and at rest in it, and those who are heedless of Our Signs, their shelter will be the Fire because of what they earned. (Surah Yunus: 7-8, Quran)

Those who are blindly attached to this world, forgetting their Creator, should know that in reprisal for what they do, they will suffer the eternal punishment of Hell. These people, on account of preferring a very short life of enjoyment, will lose an endless life of bliss. In the Hereafter they will not, even for a single instant, be able to enjoy those benefits which they are so greedily attached to in this world.
There is no certain meaning. The right question to ask is: Why are you looking for it?
