Is hatred cyclical? Does media push it to the forefront for some gain?
I have discovered a strong dislike for Arab people amongst my colleagues and must confess with everything in today's world it seems easy to fall into this bigotry. As I think back on it, I remember other times (such as the LA riots and Rodney King incident, or GLT lifestyles under fire) where I may have been slightly moved towards a hateful attitude when in retrospect I would not want my children to bare ill will towards people of differing skin tones, lifestyles or religious beliefs. I have to stop and tell myself that I am only seeing actions of a minority (?) of the people who are depicted in this manor.
