What causes personalities to be sociopathic or pathological?

Answer:
They cause it themselves by tuning in to those that speak against authority and respecting others feelings. They then become sin ridden just like those people who have become crafty and seasoned at the behavior.

Those that enjoy social chaos have an obsession with seeking out people that will validate, nurse, and feed into their false victim act while they are treating others with vile disrespect. In other words, they seek out those who validate sin, excuse it, and many times enjoy assisting them with it.

If a parent is an abuser and they like it - they will worship that parent and project that parents behavior onto the other parent in social settings and to "help sources" who end up feeding into them and the other parent - sometimes it's due to falling for lies - most of the time the encouragement to do wrong is done for agenda. In other words, they use each other so have this in common especially when truth has been presented and ignored or diliberately covered up.

Why the label? The behavior is wrong and not accepted or welcome by those who live in the thruth whether they have contact with them or not.

Psychopathy is usually defined as a combinatin of interpersonal and behavioral characteristics including egocentricity; impulsivity; irresponsibility; shallow emotions; lack of empathy, guilt, or remorse; pathological lying; manipulativeness; and the persistent violation of social norms and expectations. The crimes of psychopaths are usually stone-cold, remorseless killings for no apparent reason. They cold-bloodedly take what they want and do as they please without the slightest sense of guilt or regret. Sociopathy is mostly characterized as something being wrong with the person's conscience. They either don't have one, it's full of holes like Swiss cheese, or they are somehow able to completely neutralize or negate any sense of conscience or future time perspective. Sociopaths only care about fulfilling their own needs and desires - selfishness and egocentricity to the extreme. Everything and everybody else is mentally twisted around in their minds as objects to be used in fulfilling their own needs and desires. They often believe they are doing something good for society, or at least nothing that bad. The term "sociopath" is frequently used by psychologists and sociologists alike in referring to persons whose unsocialized character is due primarily to parental failures. As previously stated.an oversimplified answer is: nature vs nurture.
History of abuse spanning multiple generations. The "transgenerational trance" of abuse becomes so entrenched in the family system, that the abuse itself becomes a deterrent for family members within the system to step outside (or new family members coming in) to "discover" the true condition of the system. Many personality disorders originate from emotional, physical, sexual, spiritual, or combination of those aforementioned abuses. Pathos results from undiscovered, uninhibited acting out of any one or combination of these abuse situations, and needs immediate attention and intervention by secular and/or spiritual counselors with expertise in combative and non-combative PTSD and/or spiritual deliverance.
