Helpppp!!?
Am a student of fatih uni. it is very boring, and most of the time, i feel am wasting my money, please help, what do i do.
Answer:
I checked the web (Wikipedia) and Fatih seems to be a pretty good school. Trying for the "liberal arts" thing. You might volunteer around departments that you are interested in. Believe me Profs. always need people to grade papers, help tutor students, and general departmental tasks. This can relieve the boredom and help you make some useful contacts with professors you may wish to study with. Just a suggestion but it did help me through my first year of grad school where I knew not a soul and was very lonely until I volunteered to do stuff like this. Hope it helps.
Well, get involved. Join a student organization. Work with them to get some fun events going for the student population.
Or get roommates. One day when I was bored, I bought hundreds of those little green army men and hid them throughout the apartment for my other 3 roommates to find. Years later, when I finally moved out (I was the last one to move), I was still finding little army men!
Hmmmmmm. I think people get bored because they think they are smart. I believe knowledge may be infinite. I agree with Einstein when he said that the most beautiful and profound religious emotion one can experience is the sensation of the mystical. Love is verrrrry mystical.
At one time, you believed in magic. Have you ever heard of La haye and Jenkins book called left behind? consider this: People disappear everyday!! For real!! Our mind lies to us and we were desensitized to the magic of this. At this point, you and I are left behind. A mere fifty years ago, I was a tadpole in my Daddy's loins. magic!!!
I've had so many strange things happen to me since 11-8-99 when I was hit by a mack truck on my bicycle and experienced time dilation, I now realize that I may be in a coma now having a strange, wonderful, dream. that is veeeeeery humbling. but I do know this for certain: I feel real pain. And I'm not afraid to err on the side of good. I must assume you feel pain also. Being bored is painful. I am now a 9 year old trapped in a fifty year old body and I am NEVER going to grow up, if I can help it. By this I mean that I'll never stop believing in magic, NOT that I won't accept new responsibilities or challenges. I've been accepting new responsibilities since I came out of my mother's womb. It never ends. Stopping boredom may be the hardest challenge you ever faced. It is mighty difficult to believe in magic sometimes, but well worth the effort.
P.S. Don't believe everything everybody tells you. I carry a comic strip in my wallet that illustrates the fact that people misinterpret each other face to face, billions of times daily. Could it be possible that everybody is misinterpreting the ancient writings? I'd bet my soul on it. Study them carefully and honestly and think for YOURSELF. Careful, honest thought is prayer, not a bunch of empty words. Don't forget to look (study) at the birds as Jesus commanded. This is very important. Scientists study God's actions, Bible students study His words. Please be wise and study both. Good luck and God Bless.
Find a good book, go for a walk or call a loved one. You are never wasting $$ that is invested in your intellect.
