How do I know what I need to do to be qualified as a Psychologist in Australia. I have a 3 yr psych undergrad

Each of Australia's states licenses psychologists under separate regulations and they vary from state to state. However, it is safe to say that the minimum requirement would be a master's degree in psychology. You will not get registered as a psychologist with an undergraduate degree in psychology and a master's degree in another field. call a university in australia, ask what qualifications are needed, if they offer that particular course (s) of study, then enroll if need be. Be sure to speak with the chair of the py dept.

Hi there. To become a fully qualified psychologist in australia you must have completed 3 years training then a fourth year of honors or masters. You wil then need to have a further 2 years supervised training in order to be a fully certified psychologist with full registration with the Australian psychology board. good luck
