i dont think anybody really knows because babies cant talk to say what tehre dream was about.

A new born probably dreams about their journey into the world.
A baby dreams about things they do or see through out their busy little days. The other night, my baby was playing Pat-A-Cake in her sleep. Sooooo Adorable!

nothing... it begins to assimilate all teh sounds and new things it is being exposed to...
baby wont even speak coherently for a year or so.. so they watch, and they learn... after a few days they see everything...and it all goes in... gets sorted and stored away... monkey see, monkey do...
as adults we cant recall those baby years, most folks cant go back to before they were around 4yrs old, and then it wil be fleeting memories... a party... or for me it was snowing...and a tin of toffees with a dog on it...
what goes in in those first few impressionable years..well, it sets us up for the rest of our lives... nature or nurture... the great debate...

When I watch my 7 month old sleep I wonder about that. I truly believe that babies dream of being in heaven before they got here. It is the only logical answer for me since thats the only place they've been. I heard a story one time from a parent that went like this: this lady told me she had a baby afew months ago and her 3 year old was so excited and she insisted on being alone with the baby. The mother was kind of troubled by this because she wouldn't tell her why. She let her do it but was listening in on the child monitor. She said her daughter asked the baby to tell her what it was like in heaven because she was forgetting so fast. Tell me that doesn't touch your heart.

I don't think any body actually know, do you? I would think they probably dream of only very pleasant dreams as they have never any bad experiences to store in their little minds. Bless them.
