How can my brain be like that of Sherlock Holmes, Detective Conan, Gil Grissom, etc?

I am a detective fanatic! Being a detective is one of my greatest ambition since childhood! I love solving puzzles and I am willing to learn more about logic and reasoning. How can I enhance my brain to achieve a detective's brain? How can I gain that kind of thinking skill? Can someone suggest a mind-boggling activity, or any activity that can help me with that or the like? Can someone explain any scientific explanations or any idea regarding my question? I need a very accurate answer...need the most helpful one. By the way, thanks(in advance) for those who will answer my question. God bless everyone! (^_^)

Answer:
it's simply training. their brains, and yours, are learning computers. their detective skills are learned/acquired skills. the more you know the more you are able to decide what is and what is not important. the most important quality is the ability to analyze any scene. by that I mean the ability to do two things
1. the ability to notice minute details that the average person would not notice
2. the ability to look at a scene and recognize something that looks like it is out of place or does not belong.
these are not things which you are born with. there are the two sides of the brain that people talk about-one creative and the other mechanical. there have been great detectives who came from both sides. it's sorta like loving the violin when you get home from being a mechanic. detecting is a job. you can either become very adept at it or not. one of the most profound statements I've ever heard came from a person who had a 10th grade education AND one of the smartest people I know. he said "I know some hands who have 20 years experience and I know some hands who have one years experience 20 times"
the term "hand" is an oilfield expression meaning "employee" the moral here is learning does not have to be formal. study things/faces/scenes and pay attention to detail. the ability to process this into detecting is a learned skill that you can teach yourself.
Detective aren't gifted with some special brain power that no one else has.

They are simply trained to look at tiny details and to think about where they lead. Detectives like Sherlock Holmes, who can she a footprint and deduce how tall, how old, and how heavy the maker was, along with whether right or left handed, etc. don't exist. These are fictional characters and you'll be a failure if you try to work in the real world they way they do in books.
Ya. The fiction of scripts contains much that is true. But life happens while the scripts are still being written. Some of the best minds are there writing the entertainment.
Adrian Monk is one character that illustrates the defining moment of detective creation; a shattering life experience that reduces the observer to focus upon only details.
Reality check: lots of innocent people in prison or executed due to overlooked evidence.
I suggest you play those 'can you find the missing/hidden objects' games.
Read "Brain Power" by Karl Albrecht. It has lots of exercises to strengthen your mental muscle. It really works. Happy reading!
