Why we cannot do what we think?

Answer:
because some things don't depend only on us. say, weather conditions, money, well, then there are society's rules. the ego mediates constantly between id and superego.
Society pressures
low confidence or variables (things that are going to happen but one did not calculate it in ones thought)
I would think that that would depend on what you're thinking. No you can not go out and blow up Bush's Texas's ranch just because you don't like him (if you don't) But if you're thinking that you want to help Habitat for Humanity than why can't you? If you're thinking that you want to have a child and you're under the age of 20 with no high school diploma or job to support yourself than no you shouldn't. If you're an adult and you're thinking that you would like to mentor a young person in need of support than Why can't you?? It depends on what you're thinking about.
