Are we, as humans, prone/compelled to create an abuse for every thing we invent?
Answer:
there is nothing that can be invented by humans or found in the natural world that can't be used for an "abusive" purpose.
the "abuse" isn't always created per se but rather the result of an unintended consequence or circumstance.
water is necessary for life, but many forms of life can be drowned.
fire also is useful, but its devastating effects aren't always intentional.
use/abuse are two sides of the same coin. most things in moderation cannot be called an abuse, but all things, in too little or too much frequency or quantity will have a disadvantageous or harmful effect.
a lot of stuff we invented were for abuse-or at least for war. And a lot of good has come out of these war inventions too. examples. radar, nuclear power, jet engines , rockets , even computers were first actually used in any meaningful way in WWII. And the list goes on....
