So whatever.
Otherwise, i'm a good person, and i dont see anyproblem in smoking weed.
And, christans, believe that god forgives you.
If you're asking this question, then you already know what you believe the answer to be. You are just looking for someone to justify your behavior. Don't try and make someone responsible for your conduct. You have to accept your decisions and live with them. If your experiencing a conflict you will have to work this out in your own way so that your behavior reflects your morals and ethics. It's hard to live any other way and part of being mature is realizing this and living by your own rules of what is right and wrong regardless of what your friends and family, and sometime even society believe
Usually if you are questioning it it is wrong for you to be doing it. The Bible says we should obey mans laws to show our selves to be good citizens and seance mans law says marijuana is illegal you shouldn't be smoken it.
It is possible to be a Christian and still smoke. Possible, but not exactly a good thing. Doing something bad is doing something bad, period. A Christian might struggle with cheating, or stealing. That doesn't mean they aren't a Christian, but it does mean they need to be asking God for help in dealing with it. Over time God will convict you about things that aren't good for you to do. Weed isn't exactly good for your body. So God will help you rid your life of the stuff that's no good, even if it's hard. Keep asking Him to show you what He wants you to work on at the moment. Christians are still human, and just like everyone else, need God's help to do what's right. Hope this is helpful.
I wouldn't put anything before Christ, especially an addiction (possible addiction? I don't know). Well, in other words, don't do that! You already have the opiate of the masses! it's delicious enough!
Jesus died for ALL our sins, Past, Present and future. That being said: Christians will fall under the discipline of God Almighty for willful sin in their lives. You have heard the saying: "Once Saved, Always Saved?" This is correct, however, Paul admonishes us to not use this as a license to continue in sin. God will not be mocked and for our own good He will discipline us for willful sin. It is Gods desire to help us mature spiritually, smoking pot does not help a person grow spiritually. We are simply commanded to believe Christ Jesus was who He claimed to be and then the Holy Spirit will cause us to grow Spiritually. God causes these changes in us, it is not by our own strength we do this. The works we do and the changes we see in us are a manifestation of Gods Spirit in us. We do not take credit for these "Works" or "Changes" rather, we give all Praise and Glory to God Almighty, for causing the "Works" and "Changes" to manifest themselves in us. Ask yourself this question: If Jesus was sitting next to you, would you be smoking pot next to Him?
I think not. Satan looks for many ways to de-rail your faith, for some it is Drugs, for others it is Pornography and for others it is self mutilation-etc. Don't give evil a place in your life, it will only rob you of the joy and peace that God wants for your life.
God Bless You...Peace.
No, it's not possible. You are asking: is it possible to "live a life for Christ" - that is actively living Christianity, then the answer is no, it is not OK. The whole point is to repent when we sin, and then to stop doing it. If you willfully continue to sin, you cannot expect forgiveness, and you cannot expect other Christians to look at you as a good example.
