Since I was knee high, I've always been known to stand,walk or sit with confidence, and that sets me apart from the crowd.
I am Aquarious and so I am eccentric and at times very charismatic. But I am also uniquely insightful and intuitive.
I am independent and intelligent.
I am set apart for my high awareness of my surroundings and my higher capacity for indepth thought.
Also my height. I am 6'6"
All my embarrassing qualities.
It does have something to do with your sign since there are people who are simple and a bit cold (Capricorn, Taurus) but there are also people who would always be ready to do crazy things to stand out of the crowds (Aquarius, Leo).
I'm a fire sign by the way, and it's ♫my attitude and what I do♫ say it all, not my appearance. So if someone pay attention on me, at least they won't get bored.
I'm a sharp dressed man that looks good. Everyone looks at me wherever I go. People want to shake my hand and ladies try to give me their phone numbers. About the sign bs, I'm the star.
You know how I stand out from the crowd? I don't look like everyone else. I'm the only non-Barbie person around, so I'm more approachable by people because I'm just being myself.
Standing out from the crowd has its advantages and disadvantages. If you are an extrovert, you can hang around with introverts and easily stand out from the crowd. That is no effort at all. If you choose a minority group and join it and throw your weight around, you can delude yourself you are the leader of the pack but as soon as you step into the main-stream, there you are...Mr or Mrs Average. I think it is the relentless neverending energy radiating out of you, enthusiasm for life, positivity, that makes you stand out from the rest. You will be always welcome at parties and dinners etc. The trouble is that a host will owe dinners and favours to introverts, so to get rid of their social obligations they will invite all the quiet ones to the one occasion and then invite another person who STANDS OUT FROM THE CROWD to balance out the room. This person will feel used and put upon, especially when the host announces unexpectedly that this person will now give a dance demo, or tell some jokes, or describe his last stay in rehab, as a free entertainment segment to try to stimulate the others into life.
People who stand out from the crowd, such as entertainers, attract people who would not be noticed in a crowd of 3, and are therefore prone to be stalked by people who feel they are "nobodies" hoping to be their new best friend. Money helps you stand out from the crowd, everyone wants you to attend fundraisers, and everyone hopes they will be invited out on your boat or to your castle. Extreme beauty helps too, tho plainer people can put their heart and soul into grooming themselves so they are very eyecatching, and this is just as helpful to stand out from the crowd. You see those chubby youths dressing as Goths, looking very stylish, and you have to admire the time and effort and money put into their outfits and you feel if you went up and spoke to them they would not be at all boring. If you have a well stocked bar, a stack of drugs, a heated spa and a bbq full of chops and sausages, you will have no end of friends dropping round, but are they there to see you or use you up? You can delude yourself sometimes. If you are not so wealthy, you can get lots of things from the strength of your personality. Rich people will befriend you if they know you admire them, if you can be discreet and not go blabbing HEY GUESS WHAT? I SLEPT WITH JOHN TRAVOLTA'S DRYCLEANER! Because when rich people take out their boat or plane, they have to take people who don't own a boat or plane, because their friends who own boats and planes are already out in their own boat or plane. Sometimes it is tiring to be a standout. You have to be well presented all the time otherwise the secretary of the man who is hiring you for your next gig, will spot you at the deli with no makeup on and a big zit, odd socks and pants-suit on inside out, and she will rush and run back to her boss to say you must be on drugs and next thing your gig is cancelled. When all that happened is that you slept in. I don't know whether your star sign has anything to do with it.
