How to over come loneliness?
how do you over come lonliness in a foriegn country where very little english is spoken being a hiper person makes it more difficult for me .and making friends is very limitted one reasonbeing the language.
i find hardly any one in my shoes here if you know what i mean .so please advice how to over come this terrible feeling ?i work here btw

Try to focus on things you like to do like try to find groups that do them such as sports maybe church anything that can put you a situation where you dont have to try meeting people ... it just hapens due to the thing you get into, things will fall in place that way on there own with out you tryin to force it
I have a few ideas.
For starters, if you are an English speaking person in a foreign place, aren't there others like you. Find a way to reach out to other English speaking people or people from you own country that work in the place you are.
The next is a web cam to talk to people via internet from your home land.
The last thing I can think of is journalling your thoughts. You don't have someone around you all of the time to communicate with and to get thoughts out of your mind and off of your chest. Typing or writing your thoughts is a certain way of venting.

well you need to learn the language and the culture...if you are working there, have you not met any co-workers that you can talk to...find an American embassy in the area and see if anyone there can direct you to some other English speaking natives in the area.you just have to get out the house and get involved with something...see what the people are doing..you just have to put yourself out there-
Learn the language..don't try to be hip..be yourself..often youth are cows..be your own bull..hold your head up think for yourself and act like it..be Brave..What is hip..everyone is hip...Play some John Lee Hooker..let them groove ..
