How do you know for sure that you are loved?
I know this question is vague, but I want very much to see how others determine being loved. Including siblings, friends and mates.
What is the difference between having deep feelings for someone and loving them? I sometimes wish I were not related to my siblings. I believe that I love them, but if we were not related, I am pretty sure we would not be friends. I have strong feelings for my husband though I am not sure I am "in love with him".
Thanks in advance for your input.
Answer:
oh no!
Love is a sacrifice, a giving away, a grace bestowed. It is expecting nothing in return, no recognition for good deed done. And the way to know that this is love, is because there will be a return- that being, the heart will fill with gladness and the soul will be lighter.
You don't need to KNOW that.
You would FEEL it !
