Neutrality on Abortion?
Answer:
You said it best at the end: "Overall it's none of my business." The government should not tell people what to do with their bodies. Personally, I probably wouldn't have an abortion, but I would NEVER tell someone else not to. It's a personal decision that only they can make.
Abortion is a responsibility and should be delt with carefully. What concerns me is if they manage to illegalize abortion, will they take other womens rights as well?
Also, by trying to illegalize abortion they are also illiegalizing the safest alternative to aborting a pregnancy.
I feel if you spread your legs them it is your responsibility. In rape cases or unwanted pregnancy cases there is always adoption.
I just think the government should restrict it a bit, IMO. I've heard of people getting upwards of dozens of abortions, and it also discourages protection, which could spread STDs.
Ur right, in both ur reasonings, ur also right in the fact that it's no one's business except the mother's ,and in some cases the fathers'(but only if they're around). So I'm neutral. When people ask me though, I tell them I'm pro choice. But me personally, i'm anti-abortion. But in all reality, I don't think i'm fit to make that decision, because I've never been in that situation, so I feel that I can't really comment on it.
I sort of agree with you like the only people who should be allowed to have abortions are peole who were raped or women whos doctors tell them that they have to choose themselves or their babies because labor might kill them. Other than that I think if you took that step to have sex and you could handle that responsabillity than you can handle the responsability of having that baby.
Honestly though I dont care what other people do. I just think it shows alot about someones character when they get anabortion. Not to mention it changes people alot. I have only met one person male or female that didn't regret the abortion of their baby. Me though, I couldnt ever see myself getting an abortion unless I got reaped again or my doctor told me I would die in labor.
Neutrality "is" pro-choice, i.e. you are not making the choice - someone else is, and you could not care either way. That is the way it should be in a free society.
