What kind (style) of psychiatry is it when they(DR) only listens and dose not give allot of feedback?

Find a social worker if you need someone who is actually helpful.
That's strict Freudian psychotherapy.

More commonly used these days is CBT--cognitive (how you think) behavioral (how you act) therapy.

Freud is the one who came up with it.
This type of therapy generally falls under the description of psychodynamic, psychoanalytic, or person-centered non-directive therapy. The goal is to get the client to work through their own issues and figure out what is important to them with minimal guidance from the therapist.
