Do you feel this could be true about people?
when people have alot of anger and racism towards other people and not very sociable..could it be because they don't like themselves ?
Answer:
Racism and anger toward larger groups of people may be a little more complicated than low self esteem issues for a single person. I honestly think that we base prejudices on concepts given to us either by our parents and families or from negative experiences. Hate is something passed on by generations. Now, when a person is a bully...and strikes out at others, I see that as being an image issue. Even that can often be traced to how the bully was treated in the home. If a child is treated negatively...he/she in turn will treat others poorly. The question this issue raises is...how do we end the cycle of racism and hatred from the last generation and make sure that we do not pass on new prejudices to our children's generation?
yeah, they are tryng to blame others for their own insecurities
Yeah, that seems about right.
possibly
its most likely
Maybe they are just confused it happens
It's possible, certainly. How can one love others if one cannot love oneself?
There are a lot of reasons for racism, or prejudice all together... One yes it can be because someone is not happy with themselves. Their own insecurities and dislike for their own life causes a lot of jealousy, hate, anger. Not knowing what to do or how to change it turns others into a scapegoat. Fear, is another reason. Fear of the unknown, fear of changing and fear of knowing. A lot of times if the person takes the time out to get to know the other person they will like and understand them. Being raised that way, and taking on traits of your parents, or family is another. Then just plain ignornace.
Could be a factor.
Nail on the head, man.
many times this can be true...it can also be true they have had an abuse perpetrated on them by someone and this has skewed their vision...sometimes it is best not to judge others without knowing the full situation...
we often pick at others when we see our short comings reflected back at us it is human nature. We also pick at others when we feel jealous or inferior... they are also reflections of our short comings, our lack of self confidence drives us to be judgemental and picky.
