1 Do Meditation and Yoga or some exercise daily.
2. Speak less, listen more. Do not comment or command or demand .
3. Keep to self and keep smile on our face- it will look cheerful.
4. Do no harm or wrong then you will be calm.
Do your work promptly and focus on important matters both at work and at home.

Imagine a place that is calming to you such as the ocean and smile a lot.
When you feel mentally disturbed--Then sit in lonely place--close your eyes --meditate--i.e- Close your eyes and Go with the breathe--inhale with the word --sou --and exhale with the word--Aham- or you like the best. Don`t try to interfere with all matters or Don`t fight or think worse of others. This will make you mentally calm and quiet--and cheerful.

to keep the mind calm, just do things more slowly. it helps me be calm, even if i am going to be late i still stay calm and remember my keys and drive careful. there is a difference between dont worry and dont care. rather than care less you just have to worry less. then its not apathy. =)

and the best way to look cheerful is to actually be cheerful. the thing that always makes me laugh is one line jokes or yo momma jokes, individually they are not funny but after a few its just funny. i remember one time someone told me my grandma is so old she farts dust haha, and it was to be funny, so i took it nicely. but be careful not to bust out laughing while thinking about jokes like this or people might think youre nuts.

It has to be realised..through some Spiritual practises. We always wish to come back to our True Nature...through Material practises...so we never Succeed!!
