Has anyone ever turned to movies and music when they were depressed?
Answer:
YESSSSS!!
I put in my favorite Cd's, fleet wood mac, Joan jett, heart, Cinderella. Especially in my car. In my L.R. I dance around and sing as loud as I can. Great stress reliever and better than taking a pill to make me happy!! Movies I can do all day also, Tommy Boy, Joe Dirt, Without a Paddle, to name a few. It doesn't affect anyone either long as I am happy every one else feels the effect. When you are depressed it is hard to do silly stuff like watch funny movies, or sing in your underwear in the LR or kitchen or even in the car. So if it makes you happy go ahead and do it.
yes, sometimes you need some time to do what is right for you. Just explain that to your family.
I did, and my family barely noticed. My friends assumed that I was just busy with other things.. But, I'm normally really into music.

I did, I would go to the movies to escape my prob. but I dont think it affected anyone else.
Yes, but it doesnt affect anything else, it doesn't take that long to recover most of the time. For me anyway ;)
definitely. whenever im stressed or depressed, i always turn to music as my treatment. it helped me a lot. i forget all my worries and replace it with nice beats and lyrics. i guess it helped with my relationships with friends because i wouldn't be so irratable with them.
Music is good for the soul, & a good comedy movie is worth a lot when I am depressed. My friends , real good friends understood.
Yes i do everyday
Music and food are my things.
My music doesn't bother anybody, but everybody gets pissed off when I eat all the food. And then I have to deal with a whole other type of frustration.
music is the number one thing I turn to when I am depressed, Tom Petty usually, I think it helps my other relationships because it makes me not take out my bad mood on them. and gets me out of what ever funk I am in
