I have become apathetic to my studies; how do I restore my motivation?

Nowadays I get distracted so easily and have a short attention span, whereas when I was back in the early years of high school this did not occur.

Thanks.

Answer:
Wow we're in the same boat. I suggest you set some high but reachable goals( like to be one of the top students in class), or try studying with your friends.
Get a part time job.

You will quickly realize that only a good education can elevate you from the mundane and mind-numbing monotony of the one without knowledge.
Often times it is easy to loose sight of your goal when there are many, agonizing steps leading up to it. Whenever you are feeling apathetic, think back to your long term career goal. Perhaps, do some research on it or shadow someone who does it. This will engage you back into your original mindset of why you are educating yourself in the first place. Focusing on your goal should jump start your motivation, because your goal will not be reachable if you don't complete the steps leading to it. Happy Studying!
