Why do i always dream or have nighmares only when i sleep on my back?

i have that too...except tend to have sleep paralysis when that happens..i have really bad nightmares and i struggle to wake up but i can't move...if u feel anything like that you should talk to a doctor...

well all of us dream all the time but don't usually remember..chances are when you sleep on your back its a more unnatural/uncomfortable position therefore sleep is not as sound so you wake up sooner (in the middle of a dream/nightmare)
we actually dream tons of dreams through out the night, but rarely remember them all the time. i do know that what we dream is what we think about. it could be a split second of a thought, its all in the sub-conscience
I too sleep on my back, which means we are open to just about anything people. I too, dream I would not say it would be a nightmare, but I do remember my dreams, and they have involved some family members, who have passed on. I look at that as a sign, that they are letting me know they are alright.
Sleeping on your back, as I do is not unnatural or uncomfortable for me. It has just the opposite affect for me. Have a nice evening.
