Problem With Authority?

My friend has come to a realization, she has a problem with authority. At work she takes direction/corrections as some personal insult. If she makes a mistake it is always someone elses fault, she will not take responsibilty, "this happened because someone else did this causing me to do that". Then she feels she must take it upon herself to point out ever error the person of authority may make, almost vendetta like. I have tried to discuss her realization but she interprets this as me taking someone elses side. She really has trouble keeping her mouth shut and head down.

Can anyone provide a sensible suggestion to assist her in changing her behavior before she completely ruins her life?

thanks

Answer:
unless you can use her "faults" against her in a joking way over and over again until she gets it.she just might have to ruin her life before she decides to change. my boss is the same way, she is also my friend. when she gets all defensive, not my fault you said this or you did that...i just blow it off or say something scarcatic and laugh. she usually lightens up. but she will never change and with her position, she doesn't have too. Good luck to you and your friend.
Let her ruin her life, she needs it.
