Do you take your own advice you give out?

I kind of do and I kind of don't.

Because, I tend to be caring to others and harder on myself.

Advice I give is generally by my mistakes I made or almost made.

Answer:
It depends on the advice. Typically, no.
Advice is given from someone who is usually a third party or an outsider. They have a level head and can think clearly.
My advice is given from a sound and comfortable mind. If I were in the situation, I wouldn't be thinking clearly, and would therefore react differently than I would advise other people to react.
Whenever I try give advice to people, I try to make sure it's advice that I would actually follow in a similar situation. If I wouldn't do it, then I won't give the advice.
In my world, the professional theatre, any advice I would give comes from my own experiences.
