Is this normal??

I just got accepted to a very difficult Veterinary Technology program, something i have wanted for a very long time. I'm excited, but so nervous at the same time. I'm only 19 and i wonder if i can handle all the physical and emotional aspects. Is it normal to be more nervous then excited at this point??

Thanks

Answer:
Yes, of course! You have always wanted to do this because it's respectable. It's respectable because the people in the program are smart and have big responsibilities, which makes you nervous, but this is a great step to becoming a career person.
yes normal - just have fun!!
yeah, sure, why not
by the way,
arf!
Yes, it's perfectly normal. You should be proud of yourself and try to relax.
yeah its normal, its somethin u have always wanted, so you have a right to be nervous, just dont worry bout it to much, its completely normal :)
Of course it is. But this is something you've always wanted so, cheer up. You will be just fine. Calm down, you can do this. :)
I'm 19 and I'm still wondering what to do in life.

Congrats for being so focused so early in life. You'll have a bright future ahead of you.

Of course you can handle it..you're smart! Just don't get distracted. That is the only thing that will hurt you.
Of course it's normal. So, the fear is one of two things.maybe both. The fear that maybe the path you have worked hard at is not the right one and the second is obviously the fear of failure.
yes totally. even though this may be something you have always wanted you are about to change your life in a big way. change is frightening no matter whether it is good or bad.
Yeah, I think everyone going into a new place is more nervous than excited. But once you're there your nerves will calm themselves.
congratulations! it's normal and i'm excited for you.
Of course..it's the fear of the unknown.
