I had a horrific nightmare that someone was trying to kill me but i saved myself, what the hell does it mean?

a person was lying in my bath fully clothed, with a knife, so i ran downstairs he followed and as he came through the door i cut through his forearm and trapped him in the door.. i woke up really feeling terrified.. can anyone interpret this nightmare?

You are having some kind of dilemma in your life right now, where you feel powerless. Your dream is simply reminding you that you are stronger than you think or give yourself credit for.
I think you may feel out of control in your life-like someone is making all your decisions for you. But when you cut the person in your dream you took control back-so maybe you are stronger than you think. Don't give up just yet.
