How to deal with?

dissapointment and regret?

Answer:
Feel the first...survive the second.
First, I do nothing that I would ever regret.

But, I am constantly dissapointed by others' failures. But all I can really do is just move on and think of a better way.
ignore it
feel it , deal with it and finally learn from it
I just put it down to experience
Look on it as a learning experience.
Or get sloshed.
move on, quickly.
dwelling on it will only make it worse.
Usually this type of feeling is associated with actions we undertook. If the dissapointment comes from not being succesful at the action undertaken, then try again until you reach your goal. If you feel regret on these same actions, then you should be aware that they were "bad" actions and your inner self is telling you to mend it. If this is the case, nothing like asking for forgiveness.
Disappointment is a by-product of unrealistic expectations that haven't been met. When we idolize or fantasize about truths that we know are false and represent reality in the spin we need it to better our lives we get disappointed. Unfortunately learning the reality and setting appropriate expectations from any given situation is a learned behavior that only comes with experience. It sounds as though you have a way to go.

On the flip side, regret is something wholly different. It is the inability to forgive yourself or to recognize what lessons you've picked up along the way when you've really been hurt. Once you learn that you are worth loving yourself despite your shortcomings the regrets will go away.

I hope this helps. Remember that life is not how we handle success but how gracefully we stand when we fall.
get drunk
accept the first and never regret regrets as they cannot be undone, only going forward will teach you not to make the same mistake that casued the regret in the first time
What dose not kill ya makes ya stronger
Pick yourself up dust yourself down and start all over again.
