ha ha! not knowing something is one thing, but not using the brain you have is another. there is no excuse for not thinking about something and the consequences it brings. there is certainly no excuse for doing nothing because others will do it for you. ignorant people learn when you streach out a helping hand. stupid people will never learn because they never think they have to.

There is the stupidity that results from the ignorance of any reason not to be stupid.
For instance, I have a family tradition that calls me to be passive in choosing a wife. Ooh, I have several in mind. And if I were "smart" I'd knock down a few doors and 'git me one.' But my tradition calls me not to ... to just do what I do (be a good boy) and wait for Her to ask so's I can say yes.

Stupidity is the quality or condition of being stupid, or lacking intelligence. Based on IQ testing, if your IQ is lower than mine, then I'd assume YOU are the stupid one. Take a minute to think about what I just wrote, perhaps you'll realize your question wasn't to smart after all.

Everyone falls in the "stupid" catagory to the person who's smarter. You and I would be erradicated by the people of higher intelligence. It would be silly to suppose that we're on the top, looking down on humanity.
