Why do you forget very young moments in your childhood?
when you are a baby for example
Answer:
Because the brain is at those early stages still in a process of integrating and articulating cell connectivity. In other words, the brain is still in a process of growth, and not until you are about 7 or 8 years old, does the braincells stop growing along the cell terminals.
What we keep in the brain (memory), highly depends on brain maturity and cell connection. Likewise, the older you become these cells start to decay and thus we are faced with memory loss.
ill tell ya when i get that old when you forget.
supposedly because your brain is still learning to make the connections- so either they're not as strong when you get olkder, or you dont "read" the connections correctly, or it just make space for new memories (mechanical ones most likely, like chewing, etc.)
because it was a long time ago and you learn new stuff everyday.
Well, if you as a philo major, s/he would tell you that you do not really forget these moments, in fact they are the basis of your attitude for the rest of your life.
However, seeing as I do not remember anything before the age of 2, Im going to have to go with the more scientific point of view, which is the connections in your brain that send messages had not fully developed until that age to retain your memory long term.
Because your brain isn't developed enough to know how, or what to remember. As you start to talk, walk, Etc; it gets easer.
probably better anyways..imagine the terror of remembering being born
because your mind was still developing
don't know,i can't even remember this morning.
