I'm not certain why you are getting answers that men don't cry or feel things differently.
Men do cry, just like women and for exactly the same reasons. Men's tears mean the same thing as women's tears.
I would say that men don't cry with the same frequency as women, but that's only because of the social stigma that gets applied to men at a very early age.
I think you will find that men cry more often that you would expect, I know for a fact that if a man is crying, he will look for a way to do it in private and not let anyone see it.

Hi, I'm a woman answering a man's question, but I think that man can be really sincere when they cry because of losing their love. Someone who loves a man and he knows that was the case, that person is a lot more for him then a wife or a girlfriend, she is kindness, goodness, light personified. It is fine, as you put it, if men cry. Usually they don't express pain thru tears, i don't know why. Or if they do cry is not like us, they are more rational and stronger emotionally. A man tears means pain or over joy depending on the situation. Just like mine or yours do.
