Do you lose yourself in a crowd?

Being in a strange places or people sometimes get us into feelings of fear, being overpowered, drive out our strengths, or sometimes totally lose our individuality by being one of them.

Answer:
"Losing yourself" is a common negative feeling of fear among individuals, not only in crowds but also in situations. It actually originates with the sense of "unfamiliarity" over a certain scenario, and is followed by the notion of being out of control and later on having the impression of stepping beyond a certain limit (maybe your personal limit or somebody else's). The conclusion is being somewhat lost and having a sudden thought of guilt for something you're not used to. But the fact is, it is only a natural change in our environment or status that we are just not ready to accept or comprehend. Because if that unfamiliar crowd, place or situation will be placed in our minds ahead of time (as in a goal, desire or dream), it would then give us a positive feeling of fulfillment, instead of feeling lost.
