Obsession for the opposite gender in adolescence?

What are some healthful and/or practical ways an adolescent can practice to manage the stress involved in his or her natural obsession for the opposite sex?

Answer:
Masturbation of course! Also you may need to get laid.

I'll add more since Annie posted such an ignorant comment. Simply that the diagnosis of Nympho Maniac was taken out the Diagnostic psychological Manual a long time ago! Sex addiction becomes a problem when it affects the ability of a person to function in normal day to day life or causes them physical problems like chaffing from too much whackin. Not because he can't stop thikning about girls. The average teenage male thinks about sex every 5 mins!

He is a teenager for fucks sake! Of course he is horny. Take drugs my ***!! You are warped Lady!
Go to the doctor and get medication to get rid of those pesky, bothersome, useless obsessive feelings.

Don't waste your whole life catering to this problem. Get some relief from medicine to calm those raging hormones or testosterone. (I didn't notice if you are male or female). Many people have suffered greatly from consistently giving in to their desires.

Self-gratification doesn't always relieve the urge. It has the potential of making it worse by feeding the obsession, instead of starving it.
If it's natural, why "manage" it? It's your hormones telling you they're working properly!
