What is the meaning of "Scope of Intervention"?

It was found in a job interview questionaire.
What is it that they want to know by asking you to describe the Scope of Intervention?

Answer:
They either want to know to what extent you are willing to get involved in order to stop something and what criteria you will use to determine how much you will get involved OR they want to know the extent of the effect of the intervention and what consequences you anticipate will occur.
Degree of involvement into something.
