Answer:
It`s a scam, once they get your id into yahoo they will be ableto access other things, steer clear, i`ve deleted mine. Also yahoo have been going more than a year check some of top contributors on leader board...
No its a scam i and lots of others have had the same email
scam, don't do it.
It's a scam, never give out personal details to anyone.
Yep. someone wants personal info. Scam, don't fall for it. Cheers man!
Think about it Yahoo have your details>ITS A SCAM
a lot of people have received this e-mail, and there seems to be some confusion as to whether or not it's for real, or it's a scam... i've taken the chance and given my details...

some people are saying that they've had prizes off yahoo before, so i'm willing to believe that this is genuine. and i've also heard that it might be a t-shirt that we are getting - but that might all depend on which level u are on.
more than likely.

Stick by the rule, that if you have not entered anything, then you won't have won anything!!
don't know

Have you reported it to Yahoo? They dont need your details as they already have them!
It`s a scam
tell yahoo look at the name of the parsons
SCAM for sure, now these guys operate in the guise of Microsoft. just delete those mails without even bothering to open them... you were doing well without that prize , you will continue to do well with it. :)
I got a "prize" from FunQA.com for having a certain amount of points earned. It was a cup with "FunQA.com" (or something like that on it).lol...and yes they ask you for your address so they can mail it to you. So, it might not be a scam. But if you still aren't sure, email FunQA.com and ask them, before you give out any personal information.

Oh and another thing: that was like six months ago, and I've never had any problems with any spam or spyware stuff because of it.
Even if it's genuine, they want all your personal details in exchange for a T-shirt!-
You ought to know by now nobody gives you something for nothing in this present day and age.
what prize is it hun? whats the email?
It's a scam, don't do it. Yahoo don't do that sort of thing !
This is called Phising. In computing, phishing is a criminal activity using social engineering techniques. Phishers attempt to fraudulently acquire sensitive information, such as usernames, passwords and credit card details, by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication. eBay and PayPal are two of the most targeted companies, and online banks are also common targets. Phishing is typically carried out by email or instant messaging, and often directs users to give details at a website, although phone contact has been used as well. So NEVER trust them...Yahoo have your personal details and they wouldn't ask them or send you mail or email in case it gets encrypted...
I think Ya hoo should make a statement about this, as their name is involved.
