Jealousy in a relationship? Your lover needs to assure you and reassure you that things are solid between the two of you and there is no reason to worry. Then you will not be jealous.
If you are jealous of things...for example, jealous of the guy down the street with the hot car or the hot girl or the whatever...well, you need to stop and be glad for the good things you do have and stop crying about the things you don't have. Show some real appreciation for the good things you already have, and you are almost certain to get better things!

Learn to appreciate yourself for who you are and what you have. Once you can really appreciate yourself, you will be able to not be jealous of others.
Think of the virtues of yours with the person about whom you are jealous. Argue within youself why you should be jealous of the person, what are his/hers qualities, where he/she scores over you, why people appreciate the other, in which way you lack the qualities/capabilities of the other? Have a study and satisfy yourself that the other person is justified.
Being jealous is human nature and hence coming over or winning over is godly. So try to understand and respect the reality. Some by pure luck go up the stairs and providence help them. No use in being jealous of them. Be happy with what you get or destined for.
Everytime that you get that feeling of being jelious stop and let yourself think about the situation for a minute. Take time out to understand how things are from everyones perspective and understand the world in general. Understanding has probably been the key to everything for me. The more I learn the more I understand and the more I understand the better I am able to deal with the obstacles that life throws at me.
