Ok. the puzzle of my life is missing a few key peices. help?
1. my room--it has no style and is always messy. i've been wanting to paint it for several years but can never settle on a color
2. fitness--it does not exist in my life anymore and i cant seem to pull myself away from the couch to go to the beach to swim(i'm really outta shape)
3. acne-- i'm a teen and i've got it. on my face, back, and chest(not boobs thank goddness). i can never seem to make it dissapear and i dont wanna spend money for big name brands like proactive
4. boyfriend-- the fact that i dont have one. no, i'm not obsessed in getting one. all i do is brag about how i'll make a move on a guy but i dont have the guts to do it. i have no experience just knowledge from watching other relationships blossom and burn.
5. social life-- yes i have friends but during the summer i dont get out. i dont go anywhere and plans never seem to stick.
WHAT AM I TO DO?!?!?!?!

wow. we're like exactly the same. paint your room beige or white. best colors becuase they go with everything. go with friends to work out. de- stress your life or use stridex for acne. works miracles. i found that cold ocean or just salt water in general and sun and possibly sand (better if rouigh) get rid of my acne. i think you should get to know someone really well but not be like buddy buddy. or, just go to a dance or something with a guy as friends and see how it goes from there. though, it better to take a risk and make a move. the worst that can happen is that he will turn you down. just muster confidence or talk to the person and then it will just come out. my social life sucks too. tell your friends to get there ASAP. then, you cant screw up the plans. good luck. hopes this helps.
clean your room, spend the money on new cleansers , start jogging/walking/workin out , get a hobby other than the computer and myspace
everything you listed points to you being lazy and uninvolved. noone can fix this but you.
maybe you should make a list of the things you appreciate in your life........
suck it up and take responsibility for yourself. its called growing up. it sux sometimes and its hard, but other people have tried it and survived

2. Your fittness: Get off your butt and start improving your health and vigor.
3. Your acne: Get off your butt and see a doctor. The more healthy that you are (sleeping habits, exercise, diet, regular routines, fresh air, cleanliness, order and attitude), the less acne you will have.
4. Your love life: Get off your butt and start dating. Volunteer at your local political headquarters and meet some intelligent, interesting people who are probably just as bashful as you are.
5. Your social life: Get off your butt and get more involved in your community. Volunteer to do an art project once a week at a nursery schools. Volunteer to read aloud to a dying, bedridden child. Volunteer to watch tv with a lonely old lady in a nursing home. Volunteer to help build houses for the poor in Habitat for Humanity. Volunteer to pulls weeds at the local botanical center. Volunteer to shop for shut-in's. It is unnatural and unhealthy to socialize with only your own age group. That is not socialization.
What are you to do? Stop wasting your life and wake up. You are the captain of your own soul. I am a nurse for dying children who would give ANYTHING to live long enough to get acne.
First of all, its good to hear a question from a normal teen for once. Thank you for that. Hey, take things one at a time. Clean the room and start thinking about a theme or at least some colors you like. Working out can be as simple as going for a brisk walk or joining a gym. The benefits are so powerful. You will feel better and you will have a better outlook on everything after you exercise. The acne will pass. We've all had to deal with it. Wash, wash and wash. It's caused by bacteria in the pores of your skin. Boyfriend - don't waste your time on one yet. They aren't worth the hassle. Just hang with a group of guys and girls. You'll have more fun without the pressure. Summer can be a little flat as far as social stuff goes. Some people work different schedules and sometimes its hard to get a car etc. But school will start again soon, so work on 1-3, forget about 4 and 5 will fix itself in a few weeks.

1. Look in an Ikea catalog and get an idea of what you want your room to look like. Even look on some of the TV shows and get ideas. If you start with a basic color, you can add accessories and make it into what you want it to be.
2. Get off that couch and walk! Put some music on and dance. Try and do some new moves and get your body moving.
3. Watch all the foods you are eating. Get some Clearasil or a cleanser and wash in the am and pm. Use a moisturizer that has NO oil in it. Drink lots of water and stay away from the grease and sugar. Leave sodas and sweet juices alone. That makes the zits thrive and grow.
4. Just take your time and don't be in a hurry. the right person will come along.
5. Get on that phone call some friends, go to the beach, park or hang out in the backyard and have a barbecue, do karaoke, have a swim party. Get yourself out there and do something fun. You are young. Don't wait until you are old like me! Hang at the mall, go walk someones dogs, help your parents and tell them you need some motivating fun stuff to do. Summer will be over soon and you need to be out there living and loving it. Now---JUST DO IT!
don't care what your friends say or what others say about you.Remember to exercise at least 3 times a week.if you think you are fat(no offense)?.anyway, just think what you think you are.not negative...don't hate your life...you have plenty of time to solve all your problemss. Just throw all your anxieties away and relax..
Well the pimple thang I understand that ur a teenager and most likely dont have the money for products like that...I get them in odd places o.O...so when you find out a good remedy let me know lol
And the room thing I know how that is to I'll clean it and im all happy about it and wanna be in there more but then it get s messy again and I didnt even notice it getting that way until it messy and i have to clean it again '_'
But I turn on a really good CD and start on it it takes awhile and I hate getting started but after I start it aint so bad and its somthin to...
I've tried diets and did good on one and then got bored '_' and gained it all back...So now I just try to deal with it...But if you realy wanna get back into shape just put all ur effort into it and im sure u can do it! :)
I'm not sure how old u r but just enjoy hangin out with ur friends for now and when the right guy comes around(which I know he will :)
then you'll be ready to have one...
Just make one day (and MAKE it stick) plan to go out by your self just for somthin to do so ur not so bored or go out and have fun with ur friends...
