It could be something called borderline personality disorder (http://www.nimh.nih.gov/publicat/bpd.cfm... or something as simple as wanting to get along with everyone. If it seems to be a problem, the person in question should probably talk to a psychologist to see what the problem is and how it can be treated.
I've never heard of anything like that but maybe its just like in nature where one needs to adapt to survive and in this case it could be to fit in.
She could be 'brainwashed'?, or 'manipulated'? or it may be simply her original attachment was not strong, and she just changed her mind inconveniently?
