I like to be ahead of time. It is a stress management issue to me.
Yes we have to follow all the old sayings as those sayings are applicable to day-to-day life. There are some mischievous children who questions these without applying the common sense. So common sense has to be appliled before following any sayings. (like we can not eat tomorrow's food). There is another old saying also, "Everything has its own time and place"; "hay ... when the sun ... " and so on. One can not apply all the old sayings at a time. Old sayings are to be applied only when it is applicable at applicable places. They are little sour at first sight, but sweet later.
