I have to do an Interview with a doctor regarding mental illness, and then write a 3-page report using APA style..and I am pretty much stuck. I have no idea how to construct such an interview in essay format. I have no idea how to begin. Any suggestions? Please help. Thanks

Answer:
Begin with a brief introduction of who you interviewed, their title and educational preparation.
Write out the questions that you think are pertinent beforehand. Some good questions would be
What are the major psychiatric illnesses?
What are the symptoms and how do they impact the patient's life?
What causes them?
How are they treated?
What are some psychiatric emergencies?
What are some recent advances in psychiatry?

Take notes and then write them up in paragraph form. This should fill up your three pages double-spaced. Good luck.
