H ow can I keep my attention when someone being talking to me?

Answer:
I suffer from the same problem from time to time. For me, the solution is to force myself to care about what the person is saying, no matter how mundane, or if I already know what they're getting at. Do not allow yourself to think about things from the past or things in the future. You must focus on being in the present and paying attention. Slow down. It will improve with practice.
look into there eyes it shows them your paying attention as well as help you pay attention. dont look around at surronds because u cant multi-task by watching, talking, and listening. they have some non-habit forming mediciation (idk if FDA approved) to help you concentrate if you ask your dr or local GNC.
1 * stop been so self centered
2 * engage with them * have a conversation
3 * look them in the face * their eyes
eye contact, sometimes sitting helps too, so that you can keep your hands in your lap instead of "dancing around" while standing :)
Think of it this way: your attention is a piece of you that you are giving to the person. How can you give them a gift if you don't know what they would want? Listening is how. Make sure your eyes don't look away and make sure your mind is keeping the words attached in a string. Ask questions about what the speaker is saying or repeat what they say so that they can clarify if needed. Care about what they are saying even if you don't think like them because everyone has a reason for thinking the way they do. Everyone also changes their mind for a good reason.
We don't pay attention when someone is talking to us when we feel no interest in the topic or when we don't give importance to the person who is talking to us.
Do what you are not doing out of these two and you will be OK.
stop being around boring people
