What is one trait of the fully functioning person?
Answer:
No one trait in particular, but a combination of several different traits that come together to create a fully functioning person.
We can assign one trait to a robot perhaps. But not to humans, we are much too diverse, and evolved to just be holding ourself together by one trait.
And mind you, there are probably some traits a little more important than others, but I believe all are required to be a healthy human being, such as honesty, respect, responsibility, empathy, love etc. They may sometimes even vary of course.
The fully functioning person takes complete responsiblity for every experience in their lives. They know the buck stops with them, no matter what the circumstances.
the need to survive (and b 1 with the world of course ;)
You used the word trait.. a trait is a bonafied charateristic of an organisim that can be quantified by measurement. I suppose you can say it is evident. Now to address the functioning person part of your question.. a fully functioning person is a pretty broad subject. For my explanation, I am going to narrow it down just a bit.. I believe that there are three types of people.. sane, insane and unsane. A sane person is one who attempts to conform to the environment in which it is living. An insane person attempts to cause the environment to change to fit the world in which they live. A Napolean syndrome comes to mind.. To me, an unsane person is one that lets the world be as it is and does not attempt to conform to or to change.. simply, an unsane person is within the highest level of humanity. They neither conform nor change, but see opportunity for survival and fullfillment. I would say that the common trait of an unsane person is the ability to excell at all levels of their environment. They understand how to use their level of knowledge for their best interest. The trait would be the ability to think and act.
Self Satisfaction.
